Santa Clara County and all surrounding Bay Area counties will be placed on a "Shelter-in-Place" as of 12:01 AM, March 17, 2020. Attached is the memorandum from the health department so that you have the most up to date information.

ESD will have office staff available at school sites to support families that need questions answered with office hours from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additionally, the District Office will remain open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please read more about spring break, academic support, and lunch service during the shut down.

The Santa Clara County Superintendent of Schools and all county district superintendents have decided to close schools for three weeks. Measure V is a general obligation (GO) bond measure on the March 3, 2020, primary election ballot. If approved by over 55 percent of District voters, the measure will authorize $125 million to upgrade classroom technology throughout the District, while improving student safety and campus security at Evergreen School District's elementary and middle schools.

At the December 19, 2019 School Consolidation Community Information meeting, Superintendent Dr. Emy Flores provided an overview of the school consolidation process, the reasons for the school closures, announced schools not in consideration for closure, and answered participants' questions.
