About LSI
Inspiring Learners. Empowering Innovators.
Lobo School of Innovation (LSI) is a project-based learning program at Quimby Oak Middle School that empowers students to think critically, solve real-world problems, and take ownership of their learning journey. Through real-world projects, technology integration, and a culture of collaboration, students build the skills they need to thrive in high school, college, and beyond.

LSI students share their experiences with project-based learning and how it helps them build collaboration skills, deepens their understanding of subjects they are learning, and gain confidence in presenting their work.

Learning With Purpose
At LSI, learning extends far beyond the classroom. We design real-world, hands-on experiences that help students build critical thinking skills, solve problems, and prepare for success in high school, college, and life.
Students don’t just learn content, they apply knowledge, collaborate, and communicate to tackle meaningful challenges. Through rigorous projects, they grow as creators, innovators, and change-makers in their communities.
What Sets LSI Apart
- 21st-Century Skills: Students collaborate, communicate, analyze, and create, developing skills that last a lifetime.
- Project Based Learning: Real-world problems inspire inquiry, teamwork, and deeper understanding.
- Technology-Rich Environment: A 1:1 device program empowers students to learn and lead with confidence.
- Student-Centered Culture: A strong foundation of trust, respect, and responsibility inspires every learner to thrive.
