Do you really like to read books and then talk about them with friends? You should join our Quimby Oak Book Club. We will be reading a variety of books based on the interests of the group. Our first book will be Ghost by Jason Reynolds. There will be an upcoming grab and go with the book and a few little goodies to get us started. Limited to the first 20 students to respond.

Shifting Boundaries
Shifting Boundaries
Shifting Boundaries is a YWCA led program where 8th grade students learn, discuss, plan and run a campus-wide awareness event at Quimby. The group focuses on topics including: healthy boundaries, teen dating violence, sexual harassment, and shift behavioral intentions to intervene as a bystander. This group meets once a month.
*8th graders only
Please fill out the google form to be considered for this group!

TUPE is a comprehensive evidence-based tobacco-use prevention, youth development, intervention, and cessation program. The purpose of the TUPE program is to reduce youth tobacco-use by helping students make healthy decisions through tobacco-specific educational instruction and activities that build knowledge as well as social skills and youth development assets.

Wrestling Club
Quimby Oak Wrestling Club is the perfect club for you if you are interested in wrestling. It's a great way to learn to wrestle, get in shape, be involved with your school, meet friends, and most of all HAVE FUN! We will meet once a week after school, 3:00-4:00, on Tuesdays for 10 weeks starting January 12! You do not need any wrestling experience to join. The more participants, the more activities we can do and fun we can have. I can't wait to see you in this first of its kind club!

Do you have little to no experience playing volleyball, but want to learn some basic skills? Do you have volleyball experience but don’t know how to practice at home by yourself? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then the Quimby Oak Volleyball Club might be for you. Come spend an hour with Mrs. Jackson each week on Wednesdays from 1:30 to 2:30 learning or refining basic volleyball skills such as passing, setting, serving and attacking. Mrs. Jackson will utilize a variety of drills to help you improve your volleyball skills while being stuck at home. All you need to participate in this club is, a volleyball and a safe space either indoors or outdoors where you can practice. If you don’t have a volleyball, a soccer ball or small basketball can be utilized, please email Mrs. Jackson at jjackson@eesd.org, if you have any additional questions.
