Volleyball Boys and Girls

A student information meeting is held in January before registration opens. Students interested in trying out for the volleyball team are encouraged to attend to learn about the tryout process, practice expectations, and season details. The date and time of this meeting will be made during announcements.. 

Registration is online and opens after the student information meeting. Students can sign up to play or apply to be a team manager—two great ways to get involved and be part of our teams. Listen during student announcements for meeting details and important dates. 

Tryouts for the Boys and Girls Volleyball teams begin in January. Dates for trying out will be announced during student announcements. 

Monday: Girls 2:45-4 p.m., Boys 3:45-5 p.m. on blacktop

Tuesday:  Girls 2:45-4 p.m., Boys 3:45-5 p.m. on blacktop

Wednesday:  Girls 2:45-4 p.m., Boys 3:45-5 p.m. on blacktop

Thursday: :  Girls 12:45-2:45 p.m., Boys 2:45-4:45 p.m. on blacktop

Friday:   To be determined (TBD)

• You must have registered online and have a signed parent permission slip and concussion information slip completed during your online registration to attend this tryout. These forms can be found online on the Athletics Overview page. Please contact the coaches for more information.
• Volleyball is a limited-roster sport. Due to team size restrictions, students will participate in tryouts, and not all who try out may be selected. However, students who are interested in staying involved can apply for a team manager position.
• We encourage everyone to give their best effort and show teamwork, commitment, and a positive attitude throughout the process.

Regular practice will be held Monday-Friday after school in the Quimby Oak Gym. Athletes will be provided a schedule by the coach.

• You must maintain a 2.0+ GPA to compete in meets, with no Fs, or N/U citizenship grades.
• Grades will be checked on the date note above on this page. Students who do not meet grade level expectations will be removed from the team.
