Soccer Boys and Girls

Any student interested in trying out for soccer must attend the student information meeting in the gym in January to learn about tryouts, expectations, and the upcoming season.

Registration opens after the student information meeting in January.  

Tryouts for the Boys and Girls Soccer teams will begin in January 26  from 3 - 5 p.m. on the soccer field. We anticipate try-outs will run about three days. Details will be made over student announcements.   

Soccer is a limited-roster sport. Due to team size restrictions, students will participate in tryouts, and not all who try out may be selected. However, students who are interested in staying involved can apply for a team manager position. We encourage everyone to give their best effort and show teamwork, commitment, and a positive attitude throughout the process.

You must have registered online and have a signed parent permission slip and concussion information slip completed during your online registration to attend this tryout. These forms can be found online on the Athletics Overview page. 

• Tryout Location: Quimby Oak Lobos soccer fields.
• Equipment: Come dressed in your PE clothes ready to tryout. Shin guards and soccer cleats recommended but optional for tryouts.

Regular practices will be held Monday through Fridays from 2:45 to 4:15 p.m. on the Quimby Oak soccer fields (weather permitting).

• You must maintain a 2.0+ GPA to compete in meets, with no  Fs, or N/U citizenship grades.
• Grades will be checked on the eligibility date listed at the top of this page.
