Soccer Boys and Girls

Welcome to Quimby Oak Soccer! ⚽️ Competing in the East Side Athletic League, our boys and girls teams are dedicated to building elite teamwork, technical ball control, and a fierce competitive spirit. We emphasize tactical discipline and unwavering sportsmanship, providing a platform for both experienced club players and newcomers to develop their skills and represent the Lobos with pride. Whether you are aiming for the starting lineup or looking to sharpen your fundamentals on the pitch, our program prepares athletes to excel under pressure and compete with intensity.

Registration Window

January 19, 2026 to January 25, 2026. Opens after the Student Information Meeting.

January 21, 2026 at Quimby Oak gym during lunch. Learn more about tryouts, expectations, and the upcoming season.

Tryouts

Begins January 26, 2026 at 2:45pm - 5:00pm at Quimby Oak field.

Eligibility Date

Grades will be checked on Friday, February 27, 2026.

Participation Requirements

All student athletes must meet the following requirements to participate in our athletic program.

Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0. No Ds, Fs, or U citizenship grades. Grades will be checked on the eligibility deadline above.
Have appropriate insurance coverage
Submit all required forms, which are all handled through the online registration portal:

✔️ Online Registration: Must be submitted prior to the tryout date.
✔️ Parent Permission Slip: Completed digitally during registration.
✔️ Concussion Information Slip: Signed digitally by both parent and student

Tryouts

Athletes who have not completed the online registration process will not be permitted to participate in tryouts for safety and liability reasons.

Tryout Schedule: Begins January 26, 2026 from 2:45pm - 5:00pm at Quimby Oak field. We anticipate try-outs will run about three days. Details will be made over student announcements.
Attire: Come dressed in PE clothes. Shin guards and soccer cleats are recommended but optional for tryouts.
Selection: Soccer is a limited-roster sport. Due to league team-size restrictions, not all students who participate in tryouts will be selected for the final team.
Coaches look for more than just skill. We encourage every athlete to show teamwork, commitment, and a positive attitude throughout the entire process.
Team Manager Positions: Students who are not selected for the playing roster but wish to stay involved are encouraged to apply for a Team Manager position. Please speak with the coaches for more details.

Games

Game Day

Girls will play first, and boys will play second, unless otherwise noted.
Athletes must be on the field ready to warm-up 45 minutes prior to the game.
Each game is 60 minutes.
Home team determines which team plays first, boys or girls if one field is available.
Boys & Girls team support each other and are on location the entire game time for both games.
Please plan appropriately for away games.
